C.J. Equipment Sales & Service is looking for an organized, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team!

We are seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working with customers, coordinating service repairs, and being part of a fast-paced equipment service environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Advisor is responsible for acting as the main point of contact between customers and the service department. This role involves coordinating repairs, communicating with technicians, preparing work orders, and ensuring customers receive excellent service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and assess their service and repair needs.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate shop workflow.
• Prepare and manage work orders, estimates, and invoices.
• Communicate repair updates, timelines, and costs to customers.
• Work closely with technicians and the service department.
• Obtain customer approval for repairs and additional work.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Order parts and coordinate with the parts department when required.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and professional service.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a service advisor, service coordinator, or similar role is an asset.
• Experience in the heavy equipment, automotive, trucking, or mechanical industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a busy service environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with service management software is an asset.
• Mechanical knowledge or industry experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
