PARTS TECHNICIAN

C.J. Equipment Sales & Service – Timmins, Ontario

C.J. Equipment Sales & Service is looking for a Parts Technician to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. We are seeking a motivated, organized individual who enjoys working with customers, technicians, and suppliers in a fast-paced equipment service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and technicians with identifying and sourcing parts
• Identify parts using parts manuals, diagrams, electronic catalogues, and manufacturer resources
• Prepare and process parts orders, invoices, and purchase orders
• Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming parts
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist with inventory counts
• Order parts from suppliers and follow up on backorders and deliveries
• Provide parts pricing and availability information to customers
• Coordinate parts requirements with the service department
• Maintain an organized and clean parts department
• Assist with warranty parts and returns when required
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members
• Perform other parts-related duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a parts department, automotive, heavy equipment, truck and coach, or related industry is an asset
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, truck, automotive, or industrial parts is an asset
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good computer skills and ability to learn parts and inventory software
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to accurately identify parts and equipment components
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's licence is an asset
• Mechanical knowledge or experience is considered an asset
