We specialize in fabrication, bucket rebuilds, align boring, and field support for large production equipment. The Position

We are hiring an experienced Welder for a shop and field based role. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday. Additional rotations and site based schedules may be available depending on project needs and employee interest.

Work includes site assignments at mine locations as well as shop based fabrication and repair welding. You will be trusted to represent the company professionally on site and to complete work safely and to specification.

Responsibilities

Perform structural and repair welding on heavy mining equipment in both shop and field environments
Work from technical drawings and repair scopes
Complete FCAW and SMAW welding to required standards and specifications
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup
Work closely with supervisors, align bore technicians, and other welders to complete projects
Follow all site safety requirements and company procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Represent the company professionally while working on client sites

Qualifications

Minimum five years experience as a welder with significant field exposure as an asset
Valid CWB tickets all position SMAW and FCAW preferred
Red Seal certification considered an asset
Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Commitment to safety and professional conduct
