Role: The Warehouse Technician is responsible for handling all products in the warehouse, by receiving, storing, assembling orders, completing inventory, shipping, and occasionally making local deliveries by driving a Transit Van. Additional duties include responding to requests from the sales team, monitoring warehouse equipment for safety, and regular housekeeping to ensure cleanliness, safety inside and outside.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping, Receiving and Delivery: Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products accurately while maintaining inventory records and preparing customer orders for delivery. Safely operate warehouse equipment, assist with local deliveries, provide excellent customer service, and collaborate with internal teams to support efficient warehouse operations.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, maintain accurate inventory records, enter data into the Inventory Management System, and report inventory discrepancies for investigation and resolution.
Safety Compliance and Housekeeping: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment by conducting daily equipment inspections, performing housekeeping duties, keeping walkways and entrances clear, and adhering to all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Location: Must live in Timmins, Ontario, or nearby areas. In-person/ onsite position only; no possibility of working from home or hybrid.
Typical schedule: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional overtime required.
Travel requirements: 80% of time spent in the warehouse with 20% completing local deliveries. This breakdown may be subject to change depending on seasonal and customer priorities.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
License and Certification: Valid Class G license and clean driver’s abstract required.
Physical Requirements: Must have the physical capabilities and strength for lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., along with the ability to operate equipment during loading and unloading. Requires endurance to remain standing and walk for extended periods.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working in an industrial or warehouse setting.
Technology: Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and the use of a smart phone to conduct basic administrative tasks.
Additional abilities: Clear communicator, both verbal and written. Working proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
