Position Details

Position: Site Security Guard
Work Location: Discovery Borden Mine, Chapleau, Ontario
Work Setting: Mine / Energy Site
Projected Start Date: Starting on or after April 20, 2026 

Wage: $20.94 – $21.71 per hour

Shift Rotation

• 7 days on / 7 days off
• and/or 14 days on / 14 days off
• Days or nights

Duties

• Site access control, screening, surveillance, administrative duties and other duties as assigned in accordance with the operational requirements

Work Conditions

• Outside, combinations of sitting, standing and walking

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• The applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada and at least 18 years old at the time of applying

Additional Benefits:

• Travel to and from the site using your own vehicle is required
