Job Title: Office Administrator
Rotation: 14 days in / 14 days out
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Caron Equipment Inc., in partnership with IAMGOLD at the Côté Gold Mine, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support site operations and ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the office.

The successful candidate will play a key role in administrative coordination, financial support, communication, and office organization while maintaining a professional and confidential work environment. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced mining and construction environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries professionally
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Process invoices, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities alongside the finance team
  • Prepare and assist with regularly scheduled reports and documentation
  • Maintain filing systems and perform administrative tasks such as typing, scanning, copying, and data entry
  • Order and manage office supplies and coordinate office maintenance requirements
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, customers, and site personnel
  • Support coordination and communication between departments and teams
  • Assist with additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements
  • Experience working in a mining, construction, or industrial environment is considered an asset
