The Bell Creek Complex located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at the Bell Creek Mine in Timmins, ON., on a full-time basis.

The schedule is 5-5-4, 12-hour shifts rotating days and nights each week.

In this role you will be required to oversee mobile maintenance of the mining fleet and support equipment. You will be required to provide direction and leadership to the maintenance team. You will be expected to monitor for applicable standards and procedures to ensure the quality of the work performed. You will take the appropriate steps to maintain a high standard of quality of work, advises the Supervisor/Maintenance Foreman of any problems and assist in the development of maintenance employees. You will also ensure the efficient operation of the department, as well as ensuring efficient maintenance operations.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

More About You

While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply.

• Red Seal Mechanical Certification is required
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core is required
• A minimum of five years’ experience in an industrial setting is required
• Experience repairing and maintaining Alimaks’ is considered an asset
• Welding certification is considered an asset
• Practice good housekeeping
• Be committed to safety
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
