TLS is looking for a dedicated Helper to join our dynamic team. We are searching for someone who is a quick learner, hardworking, tech-savvy and handy with tools. Working in a diverse and fast-paced environment assisting skilled technicians, proudly securing Timmins and surrounding areas. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a specialized industry with the potential for an apprenticeship opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assist skilled technicians in daily tasks including installations, maintenance and repairs of door hardware, security systems, surveillance systems, access control systems and automatic doors.
• Job site prep and cleanup, load and unload tools, equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of safety codes and regulations, making sure all work performed is in compliance.
• Maintain records of work performed and submit completed work orders as required.
• Shop maintenance, shovel snow, clean work areas, garbage and recycling disposal.
• Represent TLS and its respective customers in a professional manner.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as needed.

Requirements:
• High school diploma, post-secondary education is an asset.
• Preferably 1-2 years relevant work experience.
• Clear police record check, possess a valid G driver’s license and be insured.
• Willingness to travel, serving Timmins and surrounding areas of northeastern Ontario.
• Working at heights, WHIMIS, First Aid Certified is an asset.
