About Us
We are a CWB-certified industrial services company providing millwrighting, welding, and confined space solutions to mining and industrial clients. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, we are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to support and strengthen our health and safety program.
Position Summary
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable occupational health and safety legislation. This role will work closely with management, supervisors, and field employees to maintain a proactive safety culture across all job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OHSA regulations and company safety policies
- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
- Lead and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Develop and deliver safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating safety policies and procedures
- Support return-to-work and modified duty programs
- Coordinate with clients to meet site-specific safety requirements
- Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and culture
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a safety-related role (industrial/mining preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Ontario OHSA and workplace safety standards
- Experience with incident investigations and safety reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

- First Aid & CPR certification
