With our practice growing, this is a new role to Hollinger Dental Group. The Lead Dental Assistant will provide oversight, leadership and mentorship to fellow D.A.s. to assist in the efficiency and functionality of the clinic as a whole.

Responsibilities: 

• Exceptional clinical chairside assisting duties, including knowledge of instrumentation
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical, professional behaviour
• Prepare treatment rooms in accordance with IPAC protocols
• Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements
• Provide training and mentorship to Assisting team
• Inventory management
• Create and maintain Assisting schedule                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

About You:

• Certified Level 1 or 2 Dental Assistant with minimum 5 years experience
• Certified HARP
• Expert in x-rays, CBCT/pan and patient charting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with dental software
• Leadership experience is an asset
