Role:The Delivery Driver, Industrial Supplies and Lubricants is accountable for the safe and efficient delivery of industrial supplies, lubricants, and petroleum products to various commercial and residential customers as dispatched within 150 km up to 600 km radius (location specific). The driver will operate a commercial vehicle (manual or automatic delivery truck/transit van/5-ton cube truck with pump), follow predetermined routes, adhere to safety regulations, maintain accurate records, and interact with customers with a high level of professionalism. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining our company standards and reputation with the customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Delivery:
Drive to various commercial and residential customer locations to deliver warehouse products, bulk oil products and industrial supplies.
Follow pre-determined routes provided by dispatchers, with changes based on customer demands and business needs.
Operate box truck while adhering to all regulations of the Highway Traffic Act.
Maintain an accurate daily logbook, using an Electronic Logging device (Motive), complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Organize shipping documents and arrange orders by delivery by location.
Use forklift to load and tie the skids into the truck by order of delivery schedule.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems with the support of the Maintenance team.
Represent Pepco with courtesy and professionalism and report of any customer concerns.
Travel to other Pepco sites as needed including day trips and occasional overnight trips.
Submit TDG documents, Bills of Lading, delivery tickets, and trip summaries to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager within ½ hour at the end of each shift.
Safety Compliance and Regulations:
Maintain a thorough understanding of, and strictly adhere to the Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations.
Respond and report appropriately to any emergency situations, such as any CVOR infractions, breakdowns, incidents, spills, or adverse weather conditions.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow internal and customer site safety programs and procedures
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Location: Preferably lives in Timmins, ON or other nearby areas.
Typical Schedule: On-site position. 40 hours per week. May require overtime, weekends, out of town delivery schedule and recurrent out-of-town overnight stays
Travel Requirements: 80% travel to complete deliveries.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license and clean drivers abstract required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in commercial driving preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must have the physical capabilities and strength for lifting and carrying various-sized lubricant containers, along with the agility to operate equipment during loading and unloading. The job also demands stamina for long hours of driving, manual dexterity, and the ability to navigate diverse weather conditions and climbing situations.
Technology: Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and the use of a smart phone to conduct basic administrative tasks.
Additional skills: Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Computer literacy, ability to use a pallet jack, working proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication), strong organizational and communication skills both verbal and written in French and/ or English.
