We are seeking skilled and motivated Civil Carpenters to join our team and contribute to a variety of infrastructure and construction projects. This role involves working with hand and power tools, performing essential carpentry tasks, and supporting the successful completion of civil construction work.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools to cut, drill, shape, and assemble materials
• Assist with building, forming, and installing structural components for civil projects
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and safety checks 
• Identify and report potential hazards, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
• Support site setup, layout, and cleanup as needed
• Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to meet project timelines
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Proficiency in safely operating hand and power tools
• Familiarity with rigging and material handling techniques (an asset)
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding manual labor
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• WHMIS, 4-Steps, and Working at Heights Training
• Concrete experience considered an asset
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Acts and Regs and be safely oriented
