Position: Administrator / Receptionist
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm - 8 Hours / day, Monday - Friday
Location: Gorf Office Facility
Overview:
Gorf is a third-generation family orientated organization in the mining, lumber, construction, steel and power generation industries throughout Northern Ontario. Based in Porcupine, Ontario, Gorf is equipped with a 36,000 square foot building, housing a machine shop, welding, fabrication metal shop, and steel blasting & paint shop.
Job Description:
Gorf is looking for an eager, hardworking and friendly individual to fill our receptionist role. The individual will be required to engage and welcome guest as well as perform a number of office duties. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
· Answering and transferring phone calls to employees.
· Sorting and delivering mail to employees.
· Making a professional and courteous first impression with customers and visitors.
· Managing the front desk and performing basic support tasks.
· AP / AR requirements.
· Review reception email, distribute important emails accordingly to employees.
· Support Office Manager / CEO requirements.
· Creating labels or sales/AP/AR filing purposes.
· Typing invoices when required.
Requirements:
· Secondary (High) School Graduation
· Experience with Microsoft office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects, etc.
· Experience with Quick books / accounting software’s
· Knowledge with P/R, A/P, A/R
· Organized
· Effective interpersonal skills
· Independent Worker, Team player, & Client focus
