Joel Vachon Trucking is currently looking for a 310T Truck and Coach Apprentice to join our team. This is a full-time position and is an amazing opportunity for training and career development. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair the following systems:

- Electrical and electronic systems

- Tires, wheels and hubs. 

- Transmissions, clutches, drive shafts and axles

- Body and trim, frames and hitching/coupling systems

- Steering, suspension and computer control systems
- Braking systems including air supply and hydraulic, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and/or troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend required repairs and discuss with supervisor to determine the best course of action.

- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and support the team as needed

- Record time spent, parts used, and explanations of repairs and/or maintenance conducted in shop system

- Follow all company health, safety, and PPE protocols

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Experience

- Previous experience in a dealership or service environment is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to automotive systems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this apprenticeship.
