Job Title: Supervisor
Location: In-town- The City of Timmins
As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of employees to ensure that they meet their goals and objectives. You will oversee day-to-day operations and work with team members to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards. The Supervisor will report to a manager or senior management and will be responsible for managing and leading a team of non-union employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of non-union employees, ensuring that they work efficiently and effectively to meet their goals and objectives.
- Monitor the team's progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to address any issues or concerns.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
- Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard of quality.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on team performance and progress.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
- Manage and resolve conflicts and issues within the team.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to these standards.
- Ensure that approval of Timecards is completed daily.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and senior management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals and objectives.
