TEMPORARY FULL-TIME PARKING CONTROL OFFICER (Clerk’s Department – Enforcement Services) (Competition No.: CLK-2019-01)

? Under the direction of the City Clerk be responsible for the issuing of parking violation tickets
? Make court appearances for prosecutions when necessary
? Work flexible hours with a 35-hour week
? Perform other duties as assigned
? Minimum completion of Grade 12
? Post-secondary education in Police Foundations or related field is an asset
? Experience in security or related experience
? Knowledge of general office procedures
? Knowledge and ability to use tablets, smartphones and other handheld devices required
? Data entry experience and accuracy required
? Ability to meet the public with strong interpersonal skills
? Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
? Clear Driver’s Abstract
? Current and Clear Criminal Record Check
? Bilingualism (English and French) an asset
SALARY LEVEL1: $20.22 to $23.80 (2019) In accordance with Local 434 Collective Agreement
