Technical Training Administrator

Purpose
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Technical Training Administrator will support the training department with the implementation, coordination, management and administration of systems and documents related to training. This position may be required to deliver training.
Essential Duties
- Primarily responsible to support the site technical training team by coordinating and recording all technical training transactions
- In charge of scheduling, tracking and assigning local training
- Responsible to ensure training documentation is stored, linked and utilized as a part of the training process
- Key partner to ensuring that required compliance training is tracked and refreshed as needed
- Supports co-workers with system application by providing information and training with the LMS software
- Coordinates communications related to technical training and ensures proper translation if needed
- Ensures the conformity and completion of eLearning training packages for new hires, employees, and contractors
- Maintains accurate data quality and maintenance in the systems by auditing data, performing routine data quality control, checking the accuracy of metadata entered for easy record retrieval, and corrections as required
- Manage registrations of technical training, perform QC checks, revision control issues and receipt of controlled documents including any external stakeholder documentation
- Provide timely responses to report and document requests
- Support the training team to identify any training gaps or problems

Training & Experience
Knowledge:
- Data administration experience or educational achievements
- Demonstrate openness, autonomy and facilitation skills
- Experience with adult educational programs
- Results oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to support the implementation of new processes
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in Mining or other heavy industry experience
- Minimum of 1 year training experience
- Previous experience in professional education in an industrial environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook is required
- Ability to manage/organize time and conflicting priorities in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Good interpersonal skills are required
- Previous experience utilizing SAP is considered an asset
- Ability to adapt to change
Working Conditions
This position is located in Timmins, ON. As a result, if you do not live in the area, relocation is required.
The schedule is 4 days of work, followed by 3 days off.
