Your Role At A Glance: You will help employers attract, retain, and reward employees through innovative, customizable and cost-effective benefit packages, along with group retirement solutions. It will require you to have superior relationship development skills and the ability to interact comfortably with people from all walks of life. You will put these skills to use prospecting for potential new clients while nurturing established relationships. These tasks will include researching and sourcing products from various insurers to find the most suitable solution for each client's unique needs. From there, you will present the client's proposed solution in a group or individual setting. We will provide comprehensive training to facilitate the transition into your new role and ensure you have a proper understanding of our industry's regulations and procedures. Additionally, you will enjoy the support of our seasoned back-office team.
Do You See Yourself In Our World?:We believe that the right candidate must balance their schedules and tasks, often while working under tight deadlines. Our heavily regulated and ever-changing industry requires adaptability. This position relies on you having or being willing to acquire your Life License within an agreed-upon timeline, as well as satisfying continuing education requirements bi-annually to retain industry licensing. A valid driver's license and a reliable, well-maintained vehicle are necessary for this role, as you may need to travel within and outside of the region at times (post-COVID). You will be privy to sensitive information, which means maintaining confidentiality is paramount. We require you to have a working knowledge of computers and software in this role (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Client Management Databases), as you will be using these tools daily. Bilingualism would be considered an asset but is not required. If you have proven solution-based sales experience and a desire to be well compensated for your results, we want to hear from you.
