GOLD HEART COURIER is a locally owned and operated business and is looking for a motivated reliable delivery/courier driver to join our team.

This person will prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver parcels and freight to customers in a timely manner. You should be willing to work as part of a team, in order to ensure items are delivered complete, packed correctly and safely to proper customer.

To succeed as our delivery driver, you should be polite and prompt, with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience. You are committed to working safely and take pride in your work.

Schedule will be 35- 40 + hours per week, mostly during business hours, some weekend work may be required.

Compensation will include competitive wages and benefits.

Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Delivers parcels and freight to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
• Reviews and verifies delivery tickets to ensure accuracy.
• Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
• Will follow safety and lifting protocols during deliveries and conducts safety reviews.
• Maintains delivery logs and records.
• Completes some office and paperwork
• Will wear proper PPE for task at hand.

Delivery Driver Qualifications / Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
• Highly responsible, punctual& reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Able to lift minimum 50lbs

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid G driver’s license
• Clean driving record with abstract
• Driving experience an asset
