POSITION:                   Reunification Program Developer (Non-Union Position)

COMPETITION:         21-40

LOCATION:                 Timmins, ON - with regular and frequent throughout the district

STATUS:                       Full Time

SALARY:                       $61,195 - $78,918 per annum

CLOSING DATE:       April 14, 2021 @ 4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Director of Service and/or Designate, the Reunification Program Developer (RPD) is a member of the Leadership and Services Delivery teams. The RPD will be responsible for managing and implementing the delivery of programs and services within a cultural context and evidenced-based approach that align with protection and prevention services, in addition to service planning, coordination of services, and program evaluation of services. The Reunification Program Developer will work collaboratively with the Manager of Reunification Management Team/Circle and staff to effectively plan and strategize a program development workplan.



Education and Experience:

Ø BSW/MSW with previous experience working with First Nations communities

Ø Two (2) years of Program Development

Ø Two (2) years of supervisory experience within a social service context

Ø Proven ability to apply trauma-informed, anti-colonial, anti-oppressive and intersectional approaches to planning and evaluation processes.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ø Advanced communication and engagement skills

Ø Excellent written and oral communications

Ø Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office: database competency and virtual platforms.

Ø Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and across various settings (home, office, and community).

Ø A valid Ontario driver’s license with the ability to travel and use personal insured vehicle for business purposes.

Ø Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, consensus building, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
